Less key management. More control.

Better access.
Fewer loose ends.

The door is where people meet your building. We make that experience simple for the right people—and easier for you to manage behind the scenes.

Change access.
Keep the locks.

Deactivate a missing credential or remove a former employee’s access without collecting every key.

Give each person
the access they need.

Set permissions by door, role and schedule. Keep offices, storage and staff areas separate.

Know more about
what happened.

Review recorded access events and investigate door alerts, with camera integration where supported.

At another site? Away from your desk? Stay connected to your access system from your phone.

Manage access on the move.

With EntraPass go, authorized managers can control doors, manage cardholders and review system events from a smartphone.

Make your phone your credential.

EntraPass go Pass lets authorized users open the doors they have permission to enter from their mobile device.

One door. Different situations.

Explore how permissions, schedules and door monitoring can work together.

A valid fob. An easy start.

An employee arrives during their permitted hours. Their credential releases this door, and the access event is recorded.

Designed around your property

Beyond the front door.

From a single entrance to a property with multiple buildings, we plan doors, gates, hardware and permissions together.

Staff entrances, offices, workshops and restricted areas. Clear access rules for the way your business operates.

Strata & multi-residential

Common entrances, amenities and suitable wireless suite locks. Plan resident, staff and contractor access together.

Gates & parking

Your gate.
Part of the same plan.

Staff and residents shouldn’t have to juggle a handful of remotes. We can plan gate and parking access alongside your building’s doors, whether it’s a driveway, strata parking or a busy commercial entrance.

Choose how you come in.

Cards, fobs, keypads and compatible vehicle tags. Where it suits the entrance, a long-range reader can make entry hands-free.

Keep permissions in your hands.

Set access times for staff, residents and contractors. Add or remove credentials as people come and go.

Work with what’s already there.

We check the gate controls, wiring and traffic flow, then coordinate any interfaces with your gate contractor. On construction sites, we plan vehicle and pedestrian routes separately, with trade access schedules and credential expiry where supported.

More than a reader on a wall

Simple to use.
Carefully thought through.

The best access system feels effortless. That takes a plan for the whole opening: the lock, reader, visitor entry and automatic door need to work together. We coordinate the security interfaces with your door specialist, so the lock releases before the operator moves the door.

YOUR STARTING POINT

Keep work moving. Keep access clear.

Start with staff entrances and restricted rooms, then set permissions around roles, working hours and contractor visits.

Before you change the locks

A few useful
answers.

Can we start with just one door?

Yes. We can plan a single controlled entrance and discuss what would be needed to expand later.

Can you work with our existing system?

We assess the controller, readers, credentials and door hardware before recommending what to keep, upgrade or replace.

What happens if the power goes out?

We plan backup power and lock behaviour around the door’s purpose and applicable requirements. The final design explains how entry and exit operate during a failure.

Can the gate use the same cards as our doors?

Often, yes, if the readers, credentials and access system are compatible. We’ll check what’s installed and explain how gate entry can be managed alongside the building’s doors. Long-range vehicle tags may be an option too.

Can access control work with automatic doors and visitor entry?

Where the equipment is compatible, a valid fob or authorised intercom release can enable an exterior push-to-open button or start an agreed opening cycle. We plan reader and button positions, opening time and after-hours behaviour around the people using the entrance. Interior exit arrangements are assessed separately. Your automatic-door specialist handles operator safety and commissioning; Sherwood coordinates the access, visitor-release and monitoring interfaces.

Does a closed door mean it is locked?

A door contact confirms open or closed status; confirming secure lock status requires suitable lock-monitoring hardware. Held-open and forced-open alerts need the right timing and entry or exit signals. We assess the complete opening, including safe exit and any required emergency-release arrangements, and coordinate with the responsible door, electrical and fire-alarm contractors.

Does it need a monthly subscription?

That depends on the platform. We explain software, hosting, support and any ongoing fees in the proposal.
