How we handle your information.

Enquiry information

We collect the name, email address, optional phone number, location or site address, property type where supplied, system or service and project or fault details you provide. Enquiries are stored in a protected database provided by our website host and are accessible only to Sherwood’s authorised owner. A hashed request identifier is used to limit abusive submissions. We use enquiry information to respond and plan requested work. Please avoid sending passwords, alarm codes or other sensitive system credentials. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your enquiry. If you email drawings separately, those are handled through the email services used by you and Sherwood.

Website hosting

The hosting provider may process technical information needed to deliver and secure the website. We do not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics scripts or analytics cookies. When website measurement is enabled, we count successfully saved enquiries and record the form page and, where available, the page or referring website that led directly to the form. We keep only the referring website’s hostname for external referrals, not its full URL or search terms. We also count clicks on Sherwood’s telephone links by page and day. Phone-click counts indicate interest in calling, not completed calls or unique callers. This measurement does not store IP addresses or visitor identifiers. Existing technical information used to protect enquiry submissions is separate. Reports are restricted to Sherwood’s owner account. Google Search Console data, when connected, is reported separately and is not matched to individual enquiries.
